Completed The Hatirjhil project, Churil Flyover, Purbachal project, and some other important projects of RAJUK as a Chairman of RAJUK. Experienced Highway & Bridge construction engineer for about 32 years. Involved in road and bridge design, construction, and maintenance projects. Also completed the first Buriganga Bridge, Sombugonj Bridge, Chapainababgong Bridge, and Ujanissor Bridge as a Project Director. Involved in policymaking stages and Pavement Management System in RHD. Involved in overall planning and implementation of quality assurance plan, procurement, and project formulation, tender evaluation process in RHD, also involved in Development and Policy Formulation of City Management.

Profile:

Engr. Md. Nurul Huda was graduated in Civil Engineering from BUET in 1974. Joined RHD as Assistant Engineer in the year 1975 and retired in the year December 2006 as Additional Chief Engineer. Gathered a lot of professional knowledge and practical experiences as Sub-Divissional, Engineer/DPM, Executive Engineer/PM, Superintending Engineer/PD, and Additional Chief Engineer/PD. During his long career he performed Survey, Planning, Bridge Design, Highway Construction, and Maintenance Projects. He was PD of the first Buriganga Bridge, Shamvuganj Bridge at Mymensingh, Mohananda Bridge at Chapai Nawabganj, Uzawishan Bridge at B.Baria Project. He was the former Chairman of RAJUK (Rtd. Additional Secretary) from 2009 to 2014. By this period, he completed many mega projects, e.g. Hatirjheel, Kuril Flyover, Balu River Bridge, Purbachal, Uttra 3rd Phase, Jilmill, Uttra Building, Detail Area Plan (DAP), Purbachal 300’ road project & completed many medium & small bridges. He was the former Honorary General Secretary IEB.
